Orlando International Airport

Arrival instructions, step by step

MCO has two separate buildings a mile apart. Knowing which one you land in is the whole thing.

  1. Immigration, if you are international

Terminal C handles most international wide-bodies now. US arrivals go straight to baggage reclaim.

  2. The laser visa works for flying, with a passport

Mexico’s border crossing card (DSP-150) is a B-1/B-2 visa, so it works for flying to Miami or Orlando. The one thing to remember is that arriving by air you always present it together with a valid Mexican passport: the card on its own will not get you on the plane.

  3. A connection in the United States counts as entry

There is no sterile international transit here: everyone who lands clears immigration, collects their bag and rechecks it. If you are only connecting onward to another country, you still need an ESTA or a visa. Without one you will not be allowed to board at origin.

  4. The automated people mover

In Terminals A and B you take the shuttle from your airside to the main terminal before baggage reclaim. It is two minutes and it is not optional.

  5. Baggage reclaim

Baggage reclaim is on Level 2 of the main terminal for A and B, and on Level 2 of Terminal C.

  6. Down to Level 1

Ground transport is on Level 1 in every terminal at MCO. That is where your driver is.

  7. Find the name board

Your driver meets you on the ground transport level of your terminal with an eTransfers name board. Photo and number plate are in MyTrip before you land.

  8. Thirty minutes to Disney

Walt Disney World is about thirty minutes, Universal and International Drive twenty, Kissimmee twenty-five, Port Canaveral about an hour.

What to watch for at Orlando Airport

Terminal C is not next door

It is a separate complex about a mile from A and B, linked by a train. If you walk out of the wrong building looking for your driver, you are in the wrong place entirely.

The shared shuttle to the parks

It charges per person and drops off resort by resort. For a family of four it costs more than a private vehicle and takes twice as long, which after a transatlantic flight with children is a real cost.

Surge and park-day pricing

App prices in Orlando spike on park opening and closing hours. A prepaid transfer does not.

Verify photo and number plate

Driver name, photo and number plate are in MyTrip before you land.

Orlando Airport transfer questions

How far is Walt Disney World from MCO?
About thirty minutes, twenty-seven kilometres. Universal and International Drive are twenty minutes and Kissimmee twenty-five.
Which terminal will I land in?
Southwest, Frontier, Spirit and Avelo mostly use Terminal A; American, Delta, United, Alaska and the Canadian carriers use Terminal B; JetBlue and most international wide-bodies use Terminal C. Your voucher names yours.
Is Terminal C far from A and B?
It is a separate complex about a mile away, linked by a train. It matters for where your driver meets you, which is why the voucher names the terminal.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, free, fitted before you land. Florida law requires one up to age five.
Do you go to Port Canaveral?
Yes, about an hour, at a fixed price with tolls included. It is one of our most common Orlando routes.
Can we stop at a supermarket on the way?
Yes. With Premium, one short stop is included; on Economy, request it when you book and it may cost extra. In Orlando it is the best-value twenty minutes of the trip.
