The airport is privately owned by Grupo Puntacana and also has an FBO terminal for private aviation. Both commercial terminals open onto covered pick-up areas.

In the arrivals hall and landside. Cash machines in town give a better rate.

Currency exchange

Airport rates are the worst in the region. Pay by card or withdraw at your destination.

VIP lounges

Pay at the door, or use Priority Pass or similar.

No luggage storage

No lockers and no left-luggage desk. Plan for it if you have hours to kill.

Duty free

Not automatically cheaper. Compare before you buy, and check the liquid rules of your connection.

Restaurants and cafés

Most of it is airside, past security. Don’t linger before you go through.

  • Lost luggageIt belongs to your airline, not to the airport: claim it at your airline desk in the baggage hall before you leave.
  • AccessibilityWheelchair and boarding assistance are arranged by your airline. Ask for it when you book your flight, at least 48 hours ahead. Tell us when you book and the vehicle is ready for it, at no extra charge.
