What to expect

Xenses is a park in Playa del Carmen that plays with your senses and with everything you think you know about reality. It is not a water park or an extreme adventure: it is a route full of surprises where you see, touch and feel things in a whole new way.

Your visit follows two routes with more than 50 settings. On one, you walk into El Pueblo, a village built so you can never tell whether you are going uphill or downhill. On the other, the Xensatorium leads you in total darkness through different ecosystems where only hearing, touch and smell can guide you.

There is also room for a thrill and for some downtime: Bird Flight is a zip-line that gives you the feeling of gliding, a slide drops you into the water of a cavern, you can float in a saltwater river and then sink into the Lodorama, a warm river of clay. Along the way you'll find plenty of optical-illusion photo spots.

The experience takes half a day, around five hours, so it pairs easily with the beach, shopping or another park. It is ideal for families with kids ages five and up, couples and friends looking for something original.

Choose your ticket, with or without transportation, and book half a day of surprises with us.
