Picture a morning on the water with just your people on board. On this private trip the boat is yours alone: you set out from Cancun, cross the bay and head for Isla Mujeres, the island you can see from the Hotel Zone, about 13 km (8 miles) to the northeast.
You board at Marina Sunset, at km 5.8 of Kukulcan Boulevard in the heart of the Hotel Zone. Marina access is included, so there's no dock fee to pay when you get on. With this option you make your own way to the marina.
You're sailing inside a national park that covers the west coast of Isla Mujeres plus Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc, a protected area that's part of the Mesoamerican Reef System, and that turquoise color stays with you the whole way.
