What to expect

Cancun Sailing takes you from Cancun to Isla Mujeres on a shared catamaran, with an open bar on board, a snorkel stop at the reef and time to explore the island your way. There are three styles to choose from, depending on the kind of day you're after.

Sailing Experience is the party pick: around seven hours of music, a classic bar on board, snorkeling and, wind permitting, the thrill of getting lifted into the air on the spinnaker, the catamaran's big front sail. You also get time to roam the island and a beach club stop to kick back.

Full Experience covers the most ground: food on board with a vegan option, a Privilege open bar, snorkel gear, transportation and the dock fee all included, plus two and a half hours to explore Isla Mujeres on your own and an hour of drinks on the house at IXI Beach.

Privilege Experience is the luxury version: a fully equipped catamaran for no more than 30 guests, a welcome drink, sweet bread and fruit, a Privilege open bar, towels and beach club access, all in a calmer, more exclusive setting.

Whichever you choose, snorkeling comes with a mask, a brand-new snorkel, fins and a life vest, and the rest of the day is yours to explore. It's ideal for groups of friends, couples and anyone who wants sea, sand and a bit of a party in one day. Pick your experience and save your spot on board.

“Really nice way to spend an afternoon together. My boyfriend was mostly excited about snorkeling, but I honestly just loved being out on the water.”

“Went with a few friends and really enjoyed the party on board. Having the open bar was a nice bonus, and by the ride back, we were dancing with people we'd just met. Fun way to spend a day outside the resort.”

Jennifer R.

“We did this with our two teenagers because we wanted a break from the hotel pool. It was nice having something planned that we could all do together. By the ride back, everyone was a little tired and mostly just enjoying the view.”

“My wife picked this one and I'm glad she did. I'm usually the person who wants to stay at the resort, but getting out for the day was worth it.”

Brianna T.

“This was a fun pick for our girls' trip. A couple of drinks, dancing on the boat, and way too many pictures together. We liked walking around Isla Mujeres too, but the party on the catamaran was our favorite part.”

Daniel K.

“The snorkeling was what sold me on this tour. I hadn't done it in a while, so it took me a minute to get comfortable with the mask again. After that, I really enjoyed it. Would've happily spent more time in the water.”

“We went with our adult kids and booked the Full Experience. Having transportation and lunch included made the day easier. We enjoyed exploring the island, and it was fun seeing everyone loosen up and dance a little on the boat.”

“The open bar and party atmosphere were the highlights for our group. We wanted a fun day on the water, and that's pretty much what we got.”

“My husband and I wanted to do something together without planning every little detail. This worked well for that. We walked around Isla Mujeres, took a few pictures, and put our phones away for most of the ride back.”

Eric W.

“Booked this with my sister and our partners. I was looking forward to snorkeling, but ended up enjoying the party on board just as much. We had some drinks, hung out together, and actually got everyone dancing for once. The beach club stop was a nice part of the day too.”
