If you have not yet visited this paradisiacal place in the Riviera Maya, you may wonder what is Xel-Ha. It is a beautiful park with a huge natural creek, home to diverse species of flora and fauna, besides being of special relevance for the native peoples of the region in their time of splendor.
Since ancient times, the ancient inhabitants knew about this imposing natural site. The meaning of Xel-Há is "where the water is born" due to the confluence of several subway rivers that flow into the cove.
Xel-Ha Cove
In pre-Hispanic times, the cove of Xel-Há served as a sheltering port, trade center and pilgrimage point, in addition to being a food reserve during bad weather.
To guard this natural wonder in the Riviera Maya, the gods appointed three guardians: Huh, the iguana (Guardian of the Earth), Chuc Kay, the Pelican (Guardian of the Air) and Kay Op, the parrot fish (Guardian of the Water). To this day, they watch over the park and its visitors.
Activities at Xel-Ha
This all-inclusive park in Tulum has a huge cove where several subway rivers flow from the world's largest network. It is also home to several species, including four types of mangroves essential to the ecosystem.

In the Chacahs Garden, different celebrities have planted a tree of this species of great importance in the region. The Meliponario is home to this variety of bees, sacred to the pre-Hispanic peoples of the Yucatan Peninsula, which lacks a stinger and has a traditional ceremony.

Excellent park for the whole family, fun activities, highly recommended! The park is amazing, the staff is super friendly, and you can do a lot of things like biking, snorkeling, water games, swimming, and walking around the park. The food is all-inclusive. It is a place to come back because there is always something to do. And without a doubt, the water slide will give you hours of fun.

Very beautiful and fun, surrounded by adventures, vegetation, cenotes caves, rivers, sea, 5-meter jumps, and many more activities, one day is not enough to see everything and participate in all the activities!

Excellent park! The water is crystal clear and there is plenty of fish to see when snorkeling! The food is very good and it was not crowded when we visited! Too many activities to do in a day! You will find it hard to finish all the activities.
