A night at Coco Bongo feels more like a stage production than a regular club: lights, acrobats hanging above the crowd, characters stepping off the stage, bursts of confetti and giant screens, all while the music keeps going.
You'll find it at kilometer 9.5 of the Hotel Zone, inside Plaza Forum by the Sea, steps from the beach, so it's easy to reach from any hotel in the area.
The lineup mixes themed acts that change from night to night. You might catch the tribute to The Mask with Cuban Pete, a feathered, colorful batucada inspired by the Rio Carnival, or a Parisian cabaret with can-can. Between acts the dance floor fills up and the party goes on until closing.
Your general admission ticket includes the main show, an open bar with domestic drinks from the standard menu and one snack per person. Show times can change by season, so check the time on your confirmation. Transportation isn't included, so it's a good idea to have your ride back to the hotel sorted out.
