Land and clear customs
Customs takes 20 to 40 minutes. We track your flight the whole time, so a delay does not cost you the transfer.
Walk past the counters
Ignore the timeshare and taxi desks inside the terminal. Your driver waits outside the exit doors.
Find your name
An eTransfers sign with your name, behind the barrier. If you do not see it, call the number on your voucher.

Arriving at Sandos Caracol
Before you land: how arrival works at Sandos Caracol
Sandos Caracol sits inside Grand Coral, a gated complex 6 km north of downtown Playa del Carmen. From Cancun Airport it is 60 min down Highway 307 without traffic.
The turn-off
Highway 307 south toward Tulum, left into Grand Coral at km 294. Security checks every vehicle at the gate, in and out; your driver knows the routine.
Three receptions
The main lobby serves the Family section. Select Club, adults only, has its own private check-in, and Pool View has a separate reception too. Tell us your section when you book and we drop you at that door.
Same resort, new name
Until September 2025 it was Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. If your hotel voucher still says Eco Resort, it is the same place.
The resort’s own transfer
The all-inclusive plan does not cover the airport. The resort sells transfers separately through its travel desk; ours is private, priced per vehicle and fixed when you book.
Landing in the morning
Rooms open at 3 pm and getting in earlier is charged by the hour. On a morning flight, keep swimwear in your carry-on.
Going home
Check-out is at noon. If your pickup is later, ask the front desk for late check-out: it depends on availability and is charged by the hour. We confirm your pickup time the day before.

Does Sandos Caracol have an airport shuttle?
Not one included in your stay. The resort sells transfers separately through its travel desk. We take you private from Cancun Airport, 60 min without traffic, at a fixed price per vehicle.
Is Sandos Caracol the same as Sandos Playacar?
No. They are two different Sandos resorts in Playa del Carmen. Sandos Caracol is in Grand Coral, north of town; Sandos Playacar is in Playacar, south of downtown. Check the name on your hotel booking before you book the transfer.
Is there a kids club at Sandos Caracol?
Yes, for ages 4 to 10, from 10 am to 8 pm; kids of 2 and 3 can join from 10 to 11 am with a parent. Child seats in our vehicles are free: tell us the ages when you book.
Does the driver go inside the resort?
Yes. The drop-off is at the main entrance of Sandos Caracol Nature Resort & Water Park, where the bell staff are. There is no extra charge and no walking with luggage.
What if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. If you land three hours late, your driver is there three hours late. No extra charge.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. Everyone who fits in the vehicle pays the same, and the price on the voucher already includes taxes and tolls.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, free, and you ask for them when booking. Tell us the child's age so the right seat goes in the van.
How do I get back to the airport?
The same driver picks you up at the same door. We confirm the time the day before. With Premium you can change it free up to 12 hours ahead; with Economy you get one included change with 24 hours’ notice.
