While snorkeling at the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, you can expect to see a variety of colorful and fascinating marine life. The reef is home to more than 500 species of fish. Some of the most seen species are parrotfish, angelfish, and pufferfish, as well as a variety of colorful corals and sponges. If you're lucky, you may also see rays and turtles.
