Its operator posted on pirateshowcancun.com that operations in Cancun have ended and that the galleon set sail for the Pacific. The experience continues in Puerto Vallarta under the Pirateship Vallarta brand.
If an agency sold you a Jolly Roger tour departing from Cancun, ask them to confirm the tour and the dock in writing, or request a refund: according to its own operator, it no longer sails from Cancun.
In Cancun, the closest equivalent is Captain Hook: a replica Spanish galleon, choice of dinner, a domestic open bar and The Original Pirate Battle, with cannons, boarding and fireworks. It sails every day at 6:30 pm from km 5 of the Hotel Zone and returns at 10:00 pm.

How to get to the Cancun pirate ship
The Captain Hook dock is at km 5 of Kukulcan Blvd.: about 10 minutes from downtown Cancun or Punta Cancun, 20 to 30 minutes from hotels at km 15 to 20 and around 1 hour 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen.
The ship returns at 10:00 pm. With a round-trip private transfer you arrive in time for check-in and the driver waits for you when you get back, at a fixed price per vehicle.
