How it works
How pickup works at Cancún
Exactly what happens from the moment you land.
Land and clear customs
Customs takes 20 to 40 minutes. We track your flight the whole time, so a delay does not cost you the transfer.
Walk past the counters
Ignore the timeshare and taxi desks inside the terminal. Your driver waits outside the exit doors.
Find your name
An eTransfers sign with your name, behind the barrier. If you do not see it, call the number on your voucher.
Straight to the hotel
No stops, no extra passengers. The price on your voucher is the price.
Arriving at The Royal Cancun
Before you land: The Royal Cancun at km 4.5, not the old one at km 11.5
The Royal Cancun, of Royal Resorts, is at km 4.5 of Boulevard Kukulcán, near downtown. From the airport it is 22 km, 25 min without traffic.
Two hotels have used the name
The old THE Royal Cancún at km 11.5 became Hyatt Zilara Cancun in 2013. The Royal Cancun at km 4.5, run by Royal Resorts, is still open under its name; it was once Club Internacional de Cancún.
Gate and motor lobby
There is a single entrance with a security booth, then the motor lobby and the front desk. Your driver drops you at the motor lobby.
At check-in
Bring the same card you booked with and photo ID; the villa holder must be 25 or over. Check-in at 4 pm, check-out at 11 am, and late check-out is charged.
The resort’s transfer
Not included; the resort’s travel desk sells it. Ours is private, priced per vehicle and paid when you book.
With kids
Kids club for ages 4 to 12. Child seats in our vehicles are free.
