Chichen Itza, Valladolid an Cenote Tour

Explore the pyramid temples and other monuments of Chichen-Itza

Visit one of the most important archaeological monuments of the Yucatan Peninsula. Admire the pyramid of Kukulkan and then relax in the refreshing waters of the mystical Selva Maya cenote. Finish your experience visiting Valladolid, a city full of history and discover why it’s called the ancient Spanish City.

When you get at Chichen Itza, search for the Kukulcan step pyramid (El Castillo), which is noted for the play of light from the equinox that throws shadows on each step to create the appearance of a snake descending. Then, visit the ancient cenote of Selva Maya to see one of the sinkholes that are part of a network of subterranean rivers revered to the Maya.

The cenotes are sacred to the Mayans, and they used this cenote for both relaxation and ritual services, enjoy a delicious buffet meal in this paradise and take a stroll around the colonial city of Valladolid to complete your experience, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Yucatan and the first to be visited from the important tourist market of Quintana Roo for the majesty of its temples and the ancestors.

Today it is a peaceful city with lovely historic residences, a thriving business activity, and a crucial point in the development of the state due to its strategic location.
